Claypot Tofu with Chives

Soft Tofu - 1

Chives - 5 stalks

Chai Siew  5 pieces cut into strips

Garlic - 2 cloves, cut finely

Ginger - 2 slices, cut finely

Sauce

Oyster sauce  1 Tbsp

Fermented bean sauce - 1/4 Tbsp

Chilli paste - 1/4 Tbsp

Sugar - 1 Tsp

Dark soya sauce - few drops

Water - 1/2 Cup

Cornstarch solution - 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch mixed with 1/2 Tbsp water

1. Saute chai siew till fragrant. Set aside.

2. Saute ginger and garlic till fragrant. Add in sauce, saute till fragrant, then add water.

3. When water boil, add chives and cook 2 mins. 

4. Add tofu and cook 3-5 mins.

5. Add in cornstarch solution and cook till sauce thicken.

6. Pour into claypot, heat up and serve.
